🚗 AUTOMATIC DRIVING LESSONS vs MANUAL DRIVING LESSONS — Which should you learn? 👀

Automatic ✅
• Easier to learn
• Less stressful in traffic
• Great for city driving

BUT…
❌ If you pass in automatic, you can ONLY drive automatic vehicles.

⚠️ Want to drive manual later?
You must RESIT your practical driving test in a manual car to upgrade your licence.
(You usually won’t need to redo your theory test.)

Manual ✅
• Lets you drive BOTH manual + automatic cars
• More flexibility
• More vehicle choices
• Often cheaper cars too

📌 With a MANUAL Category B licence in the UK, you can usually drive:
• Manual + automatic cars 🚗
• Small vans up to 3.5 tonnes 🚐
• Vehicles with up to 8 passenger seats 👥

📌 With an AUTOMATIC licence:
• Automatic cars only
• Automatic vans only

🚫 You cannot legally drive a manual vehicle with an automatic-only licence.

Manual ❌
• Harder to learn at first
• Clutch + gears can be stressful
• Takes more practice
