Last week we celebrated 50 years of The King’s Trust — a charity that is incredibly close to my heart.

In 2017, at a time when I needed it most, I turned to the Trust for help. I was met with guidance, access to invaluable resources, and the encouragement to take a risk. With their support, I launched London Calligraphy.

Nine years later, we are a team of 10, with studios in both London and the South of France, and a client list I once could only have dreamed of.

I was extremely honoured that we were invited and trusted to design the brochure and menus, and to handwrite every invitation and place setting for this remarkable milestone event — celebrating the countless young people supported by the charity over the past five decades.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to for believing in this hardworking, determined 26-year-old girl with no financial backing, no connections, and no private education — just someone chasing a dream to run her own business. When others doubted me or advised me to take a “safer” path, you lifted me up with encouragement and support, giving me the confidence to follow my dreams. For this, I will be forever grateful.

A huge thank you to the incredible for working with us on this project’s design and encouraging us to create something we are truly proud of. It was so special working with you. And to my King’s Trust mentor for always listening to my mad ideas, and encouraging every step of my entrepreneurial journey. Thank you for everything. Here’s to the next 50 years!
