A workout, regardless of its form, consists of various components that enable optimal performance and the achievement of desired results. Additionally, with the correct approach, the risk of pain and injury is also reduced.
It is recommended to include all health-related components of fitness in the workout, specifically aerobic exercise (strengthening the cardiovascular system), anaerobic exercise (strengthening the musculoskeletal system), and flexibility training (improving joint range of motion).
The ratio between individual components within each workout depends on the goals we want to achieve with the training program. However, the general rule is to focus on all health-related components of fitness with every workout.
The most overlooked components of training are aerobic exercise and flexibility training, so it's important to prioritize these components when planning a workout.
