We’re excited to be partnering with Kirin Sports to help expand and enrich our club offer from the Spring Term for children in Years 1 to 6! 🌟

To help shape the programme, Kirin Sports will run a special taster session right here at school on Saturday 18th October. Children will have the chance to try Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Gymnastics and Athletics — all in a fun-filled 1.5-hour session!

On Monday, St Joseph’s was awash with red as pupils and staff joined together to mark World Duchenne Awareness Day. ❤️ Our children proudly wore red and donated £1 to support families living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

This cause is especially close to our hearts, as we stand alongside one of our pupils, who lives with Duchenne. Thank you to everyone who has already donated — if your child forgot their £1, please send it in as soon as possible so we can forward all funds to the charity.

Together, we live out our mission of faith, compassion, and community. 💫

Over the summer, our corridors and halls stood quiet and still… but last week, they came alive once again! 🏫✨

It was a joy to welcome our children back — their laughter, curiosity, and energy filling every space. We ended the week with our Welcome Back Mass, gathering in prayer and celebration for the year ahead. 🙏💙

We were honoured to welcome the Mayor of Ealing, Anthony Kelly, back to St Joseph’s! As a proud former pupil, the Mayor spoke to the children in an inspiring Q&A session and toured the school, sharing fond memories of his time here. His journey from pupil to Mayor was a powerful reminder of the possibilities ahead for all our children. 🌟

What a privilege to host him — and how special to see a St Joseph’s alumnus leading our community with such pride. 💙💛

🎶 Our school choir was proud to take part in an unforgettable event at the Royal Albert Hall, joining 1,400 children from across Ealing to celebrate Harmony in Diversity! 🌍🎤

Organised by Ealing Music Service and the Ealing Symphony Orchestra, the evening featured stunning performances—including the world premiere of Ada in Ealing by Laura Rossi with words by Michael Rosen.

A truly magical celebration of Ealing’s musical talent in one of the world’s most iconic venues! 🌟🎼

We’re delighted with our Upper Phase TED Talks on Catholic Social Teaching themes! 🎤✨ So many children have spoken confidently at neighbouring schools, in assemblies, and in their classrooms—sharing powerful messages of justice, kindness, and faith. 🙌💙

Earlier this week, three of our Year 5 pupils had the fantastic opportunity to visit Perceval House as part of a Catholic Deanery initiative. 🏛️✨ They met the Mayor, councillors, and officials, asking insightful questions about how local government supports Catholic Social Teaching values. Proud of their confidence and passion for social justice! 👏💙
