Daughter Arise warmly invites you to join us for a meaningful afternoon of awareness, hope, connection and support as we come together to raise awareness of childhood sexual abuse and its impact on children and adult survivors.
πΏ Our programme includes:
π€ **We Stand** β An organisation supporting non-abusing parents following the discovery of childhood sexual abuse. Their CEO will speak about their work, alongside volunteers sharing their experiences.
π€ **Centre of Expertise on Child Sexual Abuse (CSA Centre)** β Sharing important information about believing children, the scale and nature of childhood sexual abuse, what sexual abuse is, and how we can all help raise awareness.
π Adult Survivor Support Daughter Arise organisation about the effects of childhood sexual abuse on adult survivors.
π£οΈ Survivor Stories β Beth and Caitlin will share part of their personal journeys and how they have embraced their paths towards recovery.
πPoetryβ Caitlin and author Andreena will share their poetry.
πΆ Live Music β We are delighted to welcome soulful singer Jennifer Phillips.
π§Live DJ & PA β providing music throughout the afternoon to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
π° Afternoon Tea β A selection of sandwiches, cakes and traditional and herbal teas, with vegetarian and gluten-free options available.
ποΈ RAFFLE β Every ticket holder will automatically be entered into our raffle, with prizes including:
