We are a dance company who specialise in free performance for public spaces and creative learning for young people. We create dance performances to interest and entertain based on themes we are passionate about and for particular events or purposes. We believe in dance as an art form as well as a physical activity. We try to reach audiences who may not usually see dance performance in traditional

performance venues. Our creative learning work runs both independently of and associated with our performance work. We work with young people to provide opportunities to enjoy dance and to develop their knowledge, skills and creativity. We work with young people in and out of school settings, as well as running our own youth dance company throughout the year. Find out more about our creative learning opportunities here. Combination Dance was established in 2001. We are based in the London Borough of Richmond, South West London and work both in the borough and across the capital. Our work is led by Artistic Director, Anne-Marie Smalldon and supported by a team of performers, production creatives and a producer. We are a company limited by guarantee registered in England and Wales and a registered charity. We are governed by a voluntary Board of Directors and Trustees. We are funded by our local authority, London Borough of Richmond, Sport England and Arts Council England.

Help Shape the Future of Combination Dance

As Combination Dance celebrates 25 years of bringing people together through dance, we are looking ahead to an exciting new chapter of growth and opportunity. We are seeking three outstanding Trustees to join our Board and help guide the organisation as we expand our reach, strengthen our partnerships, and create even more opportunities for people to experience the benefits of dance.
Dance has the power to connect communities, support wellbeing, build confidence and create a sense of belonging. We are looking for individuals who share our ambition and can help us build on our success for the next 25 years.

We are particularly interested in hearing from people with expertise in:
✅ Charity Governance
✅ Finance
✅ Fundraising

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute your skills, influence the future direction of a respected charity and help more people access the benefits of dance.
