"وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلًا" (سورة الأحزاب: 3)
" And rely upon Allah; and sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs." (Surah Al-Ahzab: 3)
تفسير السعدي للآية:
وثق باللّه في حصول ذلك الأمر على أي: حال كان.{ وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلًا } توكل إليه الأمور، فيقوم بها، وبما هو أصلح للعبد، وذلك لعلمه بمصالح عبده، من حيث لا يعلم العبد، وقدرته على إيصالها إليه، من حيث لا يقدر عليها العبد، وأنه أرحم بعبده من نفسه، ومن والديه، وأرأف به من كل أحد، خصوصًا خواص عبيده، الذين لم يزل يربيهم ببره، ويُدِرُّ عليهم بركاته الظاهرة والباطنة، خصوصًا وقد أمره بإلقاء أموره إليه، ووعده، فهناك لا تسأل عن كل أمر يتيسر، وصعب يسهل، وخطوب تهون، وكروب تزول، وأحوال وحوائج تقضى، وبركات تنزل، ونقم تدفع، وشرور ترفع.
وهناك ترى العبد الضعيف، الذي فوض أمره لسيده، قد قام بأمور لا تقوم بها أمة من الناس، وقد سهل اللّه [عليه] ما كان يصعب على فحول الرجال وباللّه المستعان.
Tafseer as-Sa‘di :
"for sufficient is Allah as a disposer of affairs" — therefore matters are to be referred to Him and left to Him, so He will direct them in a way that is in the best interests of the individual, because He knows what is in the best interests of His slave, whereas the individual may not know, and He is able to bring it about in a way that the individual cannot. Allah is more merciful towards His slave than he himself or his parents are, and He is more kind than anyone else, especially in the case of the chosen ones among His slaves, who He has constantly been taking care of and bestowing blessings upon them, both visible and hidden, especially when He has commanded him to leave his affairs to Him and promised to take care of him.
When a person has put his trust in Allah in that manner, then do not ask about how every endeavour becomes easy, every difficult task becomes smooth, every calamity becomes bearable, every stressful situation is alleviated, all needs are met, blessings come down, trouble is warded off and evils are averted. Then you will see how the weak slave who delegated all his affairs to his master will be able to achieve many things that a group of people could not achieve, for Allah will make easy for him that which is too difficult for the toughest and strongest of men to do. And it is Allah Whose help we seek.
