Busy little hands at work 🔧✨
Today we focused on developing fine motor skills and hand–eye coordination through play. Using tools and construction pieces, children explored turning, gripping, and placing objects with precision—building strength and control in those all-important early writing muscles.
Learning through hands-on experiences like this supports confidence, problem-solving, and independence… all while having fun! 💡

Science Week Fun: Let’s Grow!
Our little scientists have been getting their hands messy. Today’s activity was all about learning how plants grow.
The children followed step-by-step instructions to plant their own seeds. First, they filled their pots with soil, then carefully sprinkled the seeds and covered them up. After that, they gave their plants a drink of water and placed them in the sunlight.
This hands-on activity helped the children explore:
🪴 How plants grow
🌱 What seeds need to survive
🧠 Following simple scientific steps
🤲 Developing fine motor skills while planting
Now we will watch closely over the next few days to see our seeds begin to sprout and grow. The children are very excited to see what happens next!

Science Week Fun – Magnet Exploration!
Our young scientists had a fantastic time investigating magnetism during Science Week! 🧲
Children explored a tray filled with different objects – coins, paper clips, plastic tools, and magnetic pieces – and used magnets to discover which materials are magnetic and which are not. They also counted the number of objects attracted to the magnet and matched them with the correct numbers written on the tray.
This hands-on activity encouraged:
🔢 Number recognition and counting
🔍 Scientific observation
🧲 Understanding magnetic vs non-magnetic materials
🤔 Curiosity and problem-solving
Learning through play helps children build early science skills while having fun experimenting and discovering!
