After an incredible run at the Billericay Soapbox Race, our Karting Club was featured on BBC Essex following their 4th place finish out of 27 teams 👏

🏁 What a weekend for Team Brook!

Our Karting Club took on the Billericay Soapbox Race and smashed it! placing 4th fastest out of 27 teams 🚀 Competing against corporate, charity and student teams, they ranked among the very fastest in the student category.

Huge shoutout to Joshua, Ricky, Johann & Nathaniel for representing Brook with pride 👏

Our A Level Biology students took their learning beyond the classroom with a hands-on fieldwork experience at Epping Forest Field Centre 🌿🔬

From sampling techniques to ecosystem analysis, it was a great opportunity to apply theory in a real-world environment and deepen their understanding of biodiversity.

Last week’s Stephen Lawrence Cultural Appreciation Day, reimagined through creativity and culture.

Today we held an assembly for Stephen Lawrence Day.

We spoke about who Stephen was, what happened, and why his story still matters today. We also looked at the work of the Stephen Lawrence Foundation and the impact it continues to have for young people across the UK.

This year’s theme is Flags: thinking about identity, what we stand for, and how we show that as a community.

Across the week, we’ll be building on this with activities in school, leading up to our Cultural Celebration Day this Friday.
