Boarding students don’t just live at school – they live in the real world.

From weekend town visits to solo train journeys, they face a level of independence most teens don’t.

PRS is designed for exactly that reality.

We help students handle:
🚌 Public transport risks
📱 Street safety and phone theft
🧠 Recognising and avoiding escalating situations

We’re trusted by some of the UK’s leading boarding schools to deliver essential real-world training.

What makes PRS different from other ‘self-defence’ courses?

✅ We combine mindset, movement, and meaning.
✅ We work with teenagers – not lecture them.
✅ We focus on prevention first – action second.

A PRS session is dynamic, physical, and empowering. Students come away feeling more confident, more aware, and more *capable*.

We’re not just about the physical techniques – we teach emotional control, verbal skills, and boundary-setting too.

Situational awareness isn’t paranoia – it’s preparation.

Too many teenagers walk around heads down, phones out, unaware of their surroundings.

PRS teaches students how to spot danger *before* it becomes a problem.

We cover things like:
🚶‍♂️ Noticing when someone is following
🚇 Staying safe on trains and buses
📱 Reducing phone theft and street targeting

Situational awareness builds calm, capable young people.

🧠 Ask us about our 90-minute situational awareness module – perfect for Year 10–13.

What do parents of private school students really want?

Yes – academic success. Yes – social confidence.
But also… a child who’s *safe* when they’re not around.

We help students become streetwise without becoming fearful. Positive, resilient, and smart about risk.

Our courses are trusted by private and boarding schools across the UK. And they help schools show parents that they take real-world safety seriously.

💬 Let’s talk about how PRS can support your school’s pastoral offer this year.

𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁

That’s what one student told us after completing a PRS self-protection session.

It’s not about learning to fight. It’s about becoming more confident, aware, and able to assess and respond to risk.

Our training covers:
👀 Awareness and intuition
🚍 Safety on public transport
🗣️ How to deal with unwanted attention
🥋 Effective, simple self-defence

We’ve trained students at some of the UK’s top private schools.

📞 Let’s chat if you’d like to offer your students the same life-changing experience.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴

Your school may offer world-class academics, sport, music, and drama.

But there’s one essential skill many schools are missing: personal safety.

Increased street crime, harassment on public transport, phone theft, and ‘wrong place, wrong time’ situations are real risks for teens. Especially those with more independence.

PRS helps students aged 11 to 18 become:

✅ More aware of their surroundings
✅ Less likely to panic in stressful situations
✅ Better at making fast, smart decisions under pressure

📌 Add PRS to your enrichment or PSHE programme – and offer your families even more value.

Summer is freedom – but also vulnerability.

Unstructured time, new experiences, and less supervision mean students face more real-world risks: festivals, solo travel, public transport, nightlife. We often hear about the dangers *after* something has gone wrong.

PRS courses equip young people with the awareness, confidence, and simple strategies to protect themselves – calmly and intelligently.

🛡️ Situational awareness
🥋 Self-protection strategies
🧠 Managing fear and adrenaline

Let’s help students prepare for the world beyond the school gate.

📅 Book our self-protection programme for the next academic year now – limited dates remaining.

What do headteachers and boarding staff say about student safety?

At the Boarding Schools Association conference, we heard:
➡️ Schools want students to be safer—but lack the tools
➡️ Teachers see students taking unnecessary risks (especially online and in public)
➡️ More schools are looking for real-world safety training

PRS Training is bridging the gap—giving students the skills, confidence, and awareness they need to navigate today’s world safely.

Is your school prioritizing personal safety education?

We conduct fire drills because it could one day save a life.

But how many schools teach students situational awareness—a skill that could prevent an immediate threat in a real-world setting?

The reality:
🔥 Students are more likely to experience street harassment, phone theft, or confrontation than a school fire.
👀 But they aren’t trained in recognizing pre-attack indicators or how to react safely.

Situational awareness is the most effective, non-violent form of self-protection. Shouldn’t it be a core part of education?

Did you know that affluent students are being increasingly targeted for crime?

Common risks include:
📱 Phone & watch theft—Thieves look for high-end devices, especially in cities.
🚗 Fraudulent Uber scams—Fake drivers trick students into unsafe rides.
💬 Online grooming—Predators target private school students due to their perceived wealth.

Students don’t always recognize these threats—but criminals do.

PRS Training teaches them to identify and avoid these risks. Are schools doing enough to prepare students for today’s dangers?
