Who decided what a “good” crafter looks like?
The cards that belong in a shop window?
The perfectly matched colours?
The measurements that are actually measured? 😂

If that's the rulebook, I think quite a few of us are in trouble.

Maybe you use too much glue or your colours don't quite match. Your folds aren't straight or you change the design halfway through because you had a better idea.So what?

You made something and that's the bit I think we forget.

Use the paper. Put the glue on. Make the card.
Make another one.Make a mess.Try it differently.
There is no craft police coming round to check. 😉

You're not a bad crafter.
You just do it your way and that's rather the point.

This little Z-fold easel card looks lovely, but there’s a tiny something extra hiding in the sentiment.

I turned a simple die-cut greeting into a soft two-tone, ombre-style sentiment and I think it makes the whole card feel that little bit more special.

It’s such an easy technique, too. No complicated colouring or fancy equipment, just a little bit of cleverness before you peel away the backing.

And then the card itself? A simple Z-fold that opens into an easel. Lovely to make, lovely to give, and definitely one to add to the “I could make that!” list.

Clara mouse has been waiting very patiently to get back into her craft room, and today was the big test. Would her new little wooden floor actually fit?
Thankfully, YES!
Now Clara can finally move back into her craftroom.

Although I have a feeling she's got a few more ideas about what should happen next.
