🌿 Hello March....

23/02/2026

Two professionals. Same skills. Same experience. One keeps getting passed over. The other keeps getting picked.

.and that's what has been on my mind lately!

It’s seldom about who deserves it. It’s about those who have learned to make their value undeniable: on paper, online, and in the rooms where discussions are held behind you.

After 10+ years helping BA, DA, Product, and Scrum professionals get tech roles and thrive, that gap is all I think about.

Here’s the thing I have seen lately that most people miss:

They've got the experience, yes, but what’s often missing is a clear story that connects your achievements to the behaviours recruiters test for.

So let me ask you a few questions that might sting a bit:

1. When was the last time you were asked “Tell me about a time…” and your mind went completely blank?

2. Do you have 3–5 solid examples ready, or are you scrambling to remember what you did last quarter?

3. When you got rejected, did you walk away knowing exactly what to fix, or did you just blame the recruiter?

If any of those hit home, you’re not alone – but you don’t have to stay there. Your situation is completely fixable, and I'm happy to chat!

But first, get to know those blockers actually holding you back..take the FREE 3-minute career clarity assessment, and let's begin your journey back up!

I was conversing with a recruiter recently, who revealed this to me... and it's something you don't want to think about.

She said:

"The job you're perfect for? You'll probably never find it."

I asked her what she meant.

She leaned in and said something that changed everything:

"We don't want you to find it easily."

She explained:

"When we post 'Product Manager,' we get 3,000 applications in 48 hours.

Most are unqualified. Most haven't even read the JD.

So we started using DIFFERENT titles.

'Product Lead.'
'Program Manager.'
'Delivery Owner.'
'Product Strategist.'

Same job.
Same salary.
Same responsibilities.

But suddenly? 200 applications. Qualified ones.

I sat there stunned for the average Joe, searching for a job out there.

All those nights staying up. Tailoring CVs.Writing cover letters at 2am. Refreshing LinkedIn like it was going to save me.

Applying to "Software Engineer" and "Data Analyst" over and over.

And the REAL jobs?

Were hiding in plain sight.

Under names they never thought to search.

She told me also:

"The candidates who GET hired? They've cracked it!

They know that:

→ 'U/X Designer' is also 'Product Designer,' 'Experience Designer,' 'Interaction Designer'

→ 'Scrum Master' is also 'Agile Coach,' 'Delivery Lead,' 'Iteration Manager'

→ 'DevOps Engineer' is also 'Site Reliability Engineer,' 'Platform Engineer,' 'Cloud Engineer'

→ 'Business Analyst' is also 'Solutions Analyst,' 'Process Analyst,' 'Commercial Analyst'

→ 'Project Manager' is also 'Delivery Manager,' 'Engagement Manager,' 'Implementation Manager'

The people who know this?

They're competing against 50 people. Not 5,000.

I went home that night thinking about everyone I know who's struggling right now.

The senior dev who got laid off 6 months ago.

The bootcamp grad sending 100 applications a week.

The career switcher who feels invisible.

All of them.

Searching the WRONG titles.

Fighting in the WRONG pools.

Invisible to the VERY recruiters trying to find them.

So we built something.

📑 A complete decoder.

Every major tech role.

Every hidden title.

UK and US market.

Get your dream role fast!

Thank you family for attending the successful session yesterday. If you couldn't make it, here's another chance to see it.

Also, if you are out there struggling to land interviews for a higher paying role, please pay attention to this and find out the exact framework that has helped over 50 people in the last 6 months go from 'I'm not sure what to write, to I finally got shortlisted or others who have gone from 0 interviews to 4 interviews in 10 days!

First, read what some of our clients have said about this framework and the Masterclass:

💬 "It's a shame I couldn't attend the masterclass, but I have used Alasa's framework and I recommend it. Last year, I didn’t realise how much my CV was underselling me until I experienced its transformation.

After applying the workbook exercises, I got two interview invites in one week, both from companies that had previously ignored me. This was the clarity I needed."

-Chidera N., Data Analyst, Manchester

💬 "Exciting and informative session. Now I can get my CV to work for me, and I’m looking forward to more on this platform. Well done, sir.

-Selya A, Aberdeen

💬 A great work you have put together here Alasa. I encourage everyone to watch this again and enrol in Albraimahmentors' Career Fastrack Accelerator.

-Samuel O, PHD, Senior Lecturer, University of Coventry, UK

Chances are that you are almost there but are missing the final key ingredient, and that is clarity!

Your CV is the only part of your career journey where you’re judged behind your back.

No context. No second chance. No room to explain.

This framework shared in the masterclass helps you take back control — so your CV speaks powerfully even when you’re not in the room.
