Common reasons babies cry, but doesn’t make it easier to listen to!
💧Sleepiness or fatigue
💧Wet or dirty diaper
💧Hunger
💧Overstimulation from noise or activity
💧Colic, acid reflux, or food allergies
Pain or illness
💧Gas
💧Stranger anxiety or fear.

I saw this quote a few months back and it made me think lots about the amount of time I spend on my phone. We use our phones for so much these days! Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Tik Tok etc etc .I suppose it’s about balance. I see my phone as a way to hide away from reality and without it I’d probably go insane- however I now make more of an effort to have quality time with my son, making sure I put my phone out of reach. There are times when I need to use my phone in the presence of my little one and that’s completely fine, however I’m more aware of when I’m glued to it- and this quote often enters my head!

I’ve been working with a family who have a little boy aged 8 months. He wasn’t going to sleep till 8:30/9pm and waking up 4 times during the night. After 3 nights of sleep coaching he is now asleep by 7pm and sleeping through the night, with an occasional wake up (which is completely normal for a baby of 8 months old). When I first spoke with the family, they were desperate for sleep and felt they had no alone time as a couple. It’s so nice to be able to help families. Such a privilege!
