What do the latest election results mean for non-UK residents?

With the Conservative Party winning the latest elections, Boris Johnson has been officially elected as Prime Minister. One of his main points during this entire time has been to "get Brexit done".

No more hoping that Brexit may not happen - no more wondering and waiting. It will now happen, and though I agree that Britain needs to regain its sovereignty, I am very afraid for what this holds for the future of this entire region.

When I think of the current state of affairs in British politics, the pic below explains exactly how I feel .... however, it is going to happen at SOME time and the period before and after BREXIT will be messy for many individuals, families and businesses. Don't be a victim of circumstances simply by not having the required documentation in place by the time this happens. All foreign nationals are particularly at risk, with settlement requirements changing all the time. The latest requirement is that family members of EU Citizens wishing to setting in the UK must do the Life in the UK Test if they are aged between 18 to 65 and wish to apply for British Citizenship. Having experienced the heartbreak of a close family friend being asked to leave the UK overnight with his entire family, this article caught my attention .... I am NOT into scare-mongering, but it is becoming more and more imperative that you UK settlement status is clearly defined and assured.
