Instead of saying, *”Say...”*, she naturally models the words and creates opportunities for Zac to communicate in his own time. This approach helps children feel safe, reduces pressure, and supports genuine language development.

🌿🍃 Nature meets creativity! 🍃🌿

Join Helen as she shows how to create beautiful pictures using natural treasures found outdoors – flowers, leaves, stones, sticks, and more!

Using an old picture frame (or a simple frame cut from cardboard), children can arrange and rearrange their creations again and again. Because nothing is stuck down, the possibilities are endless, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and imaginative thinking with every new design.

A wonderful low-cost activity that helps children connect with nature, develop fine motor skills, and create something uniquely their own. 🌼🪨

When children have a sense of wonder and awe surrounding an activity, it helps them to listen more intently and be engaged in learning!

Top tip: Don’t fill the glass up as high as we did. A small gap at the top is needed!

Did you know interoception is our ability to understand what’s happening inside our bodies? 🧠💛

It’s how children learn to recognise feelings like hunger, thirst, tiredness, excitement, and even anxiety. Developing interoception helps children identify their emotions, communicate their needs, and build self-regulation skills.

Helen and Jackie share simple ways to support interoception in the early years. When children understand their bodies, they’re better equipped to understand their emotions.
