Well, who does not know that practice makes a man perfect. But, where is the abundant time for practice in this modern world ! So, is there any shortcuts to get that higher band? I personally researched and developed such technique and recently scored 8 in the IELTS with just only 20 days brief preparation. What I have come up with are as below:
Score 8+ in the Reading section!!! How?
1. Prepare you to read at Band 9 Level
2. How to make plenty of time (within allotted 60 minutes) by following a tricky technique.
3. Quickly answer heading match questions in a very easy way. NO MORE FEAR for the HEADINGS MACHING tasks
4. Answer True/False/Not Given questions within a minute.
5. Master to art of scan, skim and speed reading by following some nowhere mentioned techniques. Score 9 in the Listening section!!! Predict what the speaker will say in the recording in advance
2. Avoid different accent trap in the audio recordings
3. Skilfully handle monologues and dialogues of the recordings
4. Know the test takers tricks that can baffle you during the test
5. Train your ear for some common types of questions
Writing is not hard any more!!! Know some common frames to answer the Task-1 questions
2. Practice with words usage that will boost your score
3. Careful about the words and types of sentence that can decrease the score.
4. Write about almost anything in Task type-2 by following some simple structure and sentences.
