Reading together, practising times tables, baking, playing gamesā€¦ some of the most valuable learning happens in everyday moments at home. šŸ’š

But what happens when a child develops a misconception? When they keep practising something the wrong way?

Thatā€™s where a teacher can make all the difference. āœØ

At The Learning Tree, we donā€™t believe in replacing learning at home. We believe in building on it.

Through carefully guided learning, thoughtful questions and the right level of challenge, we help children develop the skills and confidence to become more independent learners.

ā€¦Because the goal isnā€™t for children to need us forever. Itā€™s to help them learn how to learn for themselves. šŸŒ³

What if getting things wrong is actually part of getting better at learning? šŸŒ±

We donā€™t want children to believe that being a good learner means always knowing the answer.

We want them to feel safe enough to:
ā†’ have a go
ā†’ get it wrong
ā†’ ask questions
ā†’ try a different strategy
ā†’ and have another go

ā€¦.Because thereā€™s a big difference between ā€œI canā€™t do thisā€ and ā€œI canā€™t do this yet.ā€

At The Learning Tree, we believe learning should be challenging enough to stretch children - but never so overwhelming that they lose confidence in themselves.

Confidence isnā€™t always getting it right.
Confidence is being willing to try when youā€™re not sure. šŸ’š
