How are you celebrating Jazz today? 🎷

International Jazz Day, established by UNESCO, recognises jazz as a global art form that brings people together through shared musical expression. A genre built on creativity, collaboration and improvisation.

At Trinity College London, these same values shape our approach to music education. Through our Classical & Jazz graded exams and diplomas, learners explore jazz across instruments while developing key skills such as stylistic awareness, improvisation and confident musical communication.

With flexible repertoire choices and opportunities to perform own compositions, Trinity exams encourage musicians to develop their individual voice; something at the heart of the jazz tradition.

Today we celebrate the teachers, learners and performers keeping jazz alive around the world. 🎶
