The Kensington Kindergarten

The children had a busy week making Easter bonnets, creating crafts and cards for their families and an Easter bonnet parade! Wishing all of our families a happy Easter!

Our little artists explored the amazing world of Georgia O’Keeffe, learning about her bold colours and beautiful shapes. They created their own artwork inspired by her style!

Our little ones and teachers have come in bright, colourful and wonderful odd socks and shoes to raise money for Comic Relief! Thank you to all of our families for your support and generosity 🔴

The children have been practising their scissors skills. Cutting helps children develop their fine motor skills, hand eye coordination, and concentration while having lots of fun creating!

Happy World Book Day!
Today the children stepped into the magical world of stories, imagination, and adventure. From colourful picture books to favourite characters, we celebrated the joy that books bring to us all!

This curious creator dove into our tool kit, carefully twisting bolts and screws. Through play like this children develop their fine motor skills, problem solving abilities, focus and patience.

The children enjoyed exploring our Valentines themed trays. They discovered new textures and practised their fine motor skills through pouring and scooping ❤️

We make learning meaningful and enjoyable through carefully planned play based activities

The children read one of their favourite books ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ and enjoyed all of the activities created for them!

Our little learners took on an arctic animal stem challenge using pompoms, colorful cubes, popsicle sticks and jewels to make lots of imaginative shelters, bridges and food for the Arctic animals. There was lots of creativity, problem solving and team work!
