Have you ever said those words? Or heard your child say them?

The truth is most people have an iffy relationship with Maths at school. And it usually comes down to the fact that teachers within a classroom only have so much time and have to rush through the syllabus.

When children are given undivided attention and support, they ''get it'' very quickly. And the confidence that inspires within them spreads to every part of them - at school and beyond.

I'm a mum, a teacher, an examiner and a problem solver.

I have taught in classrooms around the world. I've taught children in school and adults in corporate learning environments. In the last couple of years I've taken to tutoring those who either feel they've been left behind in the classroom, or those who simply need a helping hand and a solution tailored to suit their particular needs.

I love working one on one with students, helping them master skills that have usually eluded them within their classroom setting. I encourage students to take ownership of their learning and guide them along their way rather than simply presenting them with generic lessons.

I have a particular love for GCSE Maths but am happy to help with all secondary levels. Get in touch!
