What a fantastic effort from everyone for The Jack Petchey Culture Day! It’s a wonderful day to celebrate our variety of different cultures!

Well done to everyone who won an award - we are so proud of you all!

Come along to our Bake Off! This exciting event takes place on Tuesday 16 April and cakes will be sold at lunchtime!

Certificates are all ready for our awards ceremony which takes place tomorrow for students in Year 7 to Year 10 and on Thursday for Year 11 to Year 13!

Our Year 11 boys basketball team lost both matches against Mossbourne Community Academy and Mossbourne Victoria Park Academy. The boys played very well. Petchey were leading at both half times, however tiredness took over. The boys should be proud of their efforts!

Out of 24 teams, our Year 9 students are runners up in the JP Morgan School’s Challenge. What an achievement! Students spent 6 months designing a product to reduce water waste in the UK. They presented on stage in front of more than 100 people and we are so impressed!

Students in Year 9 and Year 10 spent the morning working in a professional kitchen learning about food hygiene, kitchen equipment and careers within professional cookery. As part of the session, students had the opportunity to bake a cake! Well done!
