Are We Really Prepared for it?

Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) is viral respiratory illness first reported in Saudi Arabia in 2012. It is caused by a coronavirus called MERS-CoV.
Most people who have been confirmed to have MERS-CoV infection developed severe acute respiratory illness. They had fever, cough, and shortness of breath. About half of these people died.
So far, all the cases have been linked to four countries in or near the Arabian Peninsula.
So the big question is ARE WE PREPARED FOR ANOTHER PANDEMIC??

Still More than 5000 people are missing and those found are in need of Medical Assistance.

Although it's about a month, but, their suffering hasn't faded nor has the illness..
IMSA needs volunteers to send a medical team to Uttarakhand..
Money has been donated by many, but, only we doctors have the much needed skills to offer assistance..

All Doctors/Medicos (INTERN or Beyond) are asked to come forward for the much needed assistance...
