Women Rock!!!!!
I had such a blast today with the women of such strength, grace and power and a good craic too!
provided the group with a great workout program introducing many to style movements and I spoke about how to maximise workout potential through your cycle. Was magical to get all the women together and feel the sisterhood!

Maintaining a healthy diet includes maintaining a healthy relationship with ALL foods.

Food represents so much in life; celebration, gathering, sharing, gratitude as well as fuel and nourishment. We have to fuel and nourish our bodies daily but we also, on occasion need to participate in celebrations and indulgences that feed our soul and build connections. Not every day is a celebration (ok, maybe a little 😊) and not every day has to just be about goals, so working out how to balance these things is the key to being successful.

One of the best habits you can work at mastering when it comes to nutrition is planning ahead. Whether it’s a few days at a time or longer, knowing what to expect and getting in front of it will greatly improve your success rate.
Planning can mean
•having a menu and shopping list worked out before heading to the shops
• looking at the menu of the restaurant you plan to visit to see what works on a night out
• adjusting your eating a few days in advance so that you can attend an event and eat freely
• having a plan if what you’re going to eat after an event to get you back on track.
We also need to be comfortable with things being out of our control sometimes, but the less frequent those situations arise, the more we’ll get and stay where we want to be.

Don’t be the person that turns up to the party but won’t eat the cake, we’ve all been there and tried it and it’s miserable 😩

Trying to achieve perfection all the time usually leads to the balance tipping and completely unraveling.

It’s overwhelming seeing so many people (seemingly) achieving what you feel is difficult. How do they find it so easy? Why can’t I be more like them? Where do they get the time? Truth is it is easy and you can achieve great results, you just need to keep some points in mind

~ Starting is the hardest part, you know this all too well, if you find it difficult to motivate yourself to begin then reach out to someone external (like me 🙋🏼♀️) to get you going!
•
~ Social media is great and all but....it’s not real life, people rarely show the hard parts, just the glory, which makes YOU believe that it’s plain sailing for everyone else...well, here, I’m saying it....we ALL find it tough sometimes, so roll with those punches 🥊 but it should be more easy than difficult!
•
~ Take time to focus on what you really want, not what others have going on and chase down those goals 🎯 Be a cheerleader for other peoples achievements but don’t feel you have to be doing the same. Trying to do all the things is too exhausting 🥱
•
~ It’s ok to take time out if you feel overwhelmed. Being overwhelmed can lead to shutting down and that will get you no where, take a breather to reset your own path.
