Choking is the third most common cause of accidental death for babies in the UK 🍭🍿🥜 🌭

Early intervention is key when you notice someone choking - the sooner we intervene with first aid, the more likely they are to dislodge the blockage.

⚠️ But choking is silent! ⚠️
So we really must be with little ones at all times whilst they’re eating. This means no snacking in the car! How often do you actually check them in the rear-view mirror? Probably not as often as you think.

Do you know how to deal with a choking baby or child? If not then it would be great to do a first aid class so you can intervene asap.

Just another busy day in Shooting Stars! All you need are some vegetables and tooth picks. Such a simple idea and quick and easy to set up at home too! Give it a try and see what veggie people you can make!

S E P T E M B E R ! We're so excited for September - it's going to be a busy month for us! The children are either in the middle of or beginning their transitions to their new rooms and we are looking forward to welcoming all the new children who will be joining us!

Today in Shooting Stars we have had a busy first half of the day, playing in the sandbox, exploring leaves, pouring and having a splash with the water tray and patiently waiting for our bugs to hatch!

SENSORY PLAY
Our little ones love sensory play! There are so many benefits associated with sensory play and so many ways to do it! Using clear bags is a good little trick to reduce the mess!
