The discussions from geopolitical shifts to on-the-ground business realities have informed our approach to supporting trade between Africa, the UK and international markets.

“We’ve been seeing people formulating policies based on administrative work. We should stop doing this.”

Nair de Sousa’s message is clear: Africa doesn’t need more policy documents. We need tested solutions with standardised metrics.

→ What tons of CO2 can we actually reduce?
→ What nutrient self-sufficiency can we prove?
→ What additionality are we integrating into systems?

The African Circular Business Alliance (ACBA) builds biodigesters, tests them in Nigeria, Angola and South Africa, then uses those results to inform policy. Not the other way round.

Result? 85% nutrient self-sufficiency. 90% methane capture. Quantifiable outcomes that investors and policymakers can trust.
