e and diverse base of expertise and excellence spread across our large and growing alliance. Our Teaching School is Elmhurst Primary School in Forest Gate, which is also a National Maths Hub. Drawing on the expertise of our many partner schools and organisations, our Alliance is able to offer a diverse range of high-quality CPD for teachers and school leaders, as well as a successful School Direct programme for Initial Teacher Education. We have a large portfolio of Specialist Leaders in Education and National Leaders in Education whose expertise can afford unparalleled opportunities for school-to-school support. In collaboration with the Maths Hub, we offer an array of Research and Development projects, including Lesson Study and Action Research. We offer enriching collaborative learning projects for pupils our partner schools. We coordinate Debating leagues and competitions across Newham and host an annual Primary Speechmaking Competition. We offer inter-school enrichment courses to promote a love of Mathematics, both for primary and secondary schools. We offer a range of exciting and well-established annual competitions, including a Spelling Bee, Maths Bee and Geography Bee to develop and refine pupils’ knowledge. The Elmhurst Teaching School Alliance seeks to work collaboratively, with partners each playing an active and mutually-supportive role. Through pooling our expertise and the diversity of our approaches, we are able to offer a dynamic support network to support high-quality teaching and learning.
