Last night I felt the urge to paint a demon — no client brief, no design process, just pure flow 🎨🎨

I started in black and white, focusing on shape, contrast, and mood, then slowly introduced colour as the piece revealed itself. No rules, no expectations — just following the painting.

It feels like something that could live in an Elden Ring or Dark Souls–style dark fantasy world.

Still deciding on a name… 👀
What would you call it?

Fowl Scourge — Marketing Illustration
Excited to share this piece I created for Fowl Scourge, an indie game developed by Void Cup Games and published by CI Games.

I had an amazing time working on this project — it pushed me to explore new ideas, experiment with style, and be more playful with my painting techniques. Working on game art like this is always such a rewarding challenge. 🎨🔥

For this study, I explored the work of Frank Cadogan Cowper, focusing on translating his delicate realism and romantic mood into a charcoal-driven look. Instead of fully rendered color, I pushed the values, texture, and softness you’d normally find in traditional charcoal drawings.

The goal wasn’t just to copy — it was to understand:
• His figure handling
• The subtleties in facial expression
• How values create depth and emotion
• The poetry in soft edges and light

Limiting the palette helped me focus on form, contrast, and atmosphere — and honestly, it made me appreciate his craftsmanship even more.

Master studies are always humbling… but incredibly rewarding.

✨ Environment Study – Composition + Photobashing ✨

Exploring new workflows today with a focus on cinematic composition and efficient photobashing.
I started by blocking out the major shapes to establish depth and flow, then layered photo textures to push realism while still keeping control of the mood.

Key goals in this study:
🔹 Strong silhouette hierarchy
🔹 Clear foreground / midground / background separation
🔹 Cohesive lighting across painted + photo-sourced elements
🔹 Using photobash only to enhance—not replace—the storytelling

It’s always fun seeing a rough block-in evolve into something atmospheric once textures, color, and light come together. ✨

☿ ✨ The Code ✨ ⚚
A world forged in ☉ light and ☾ shadow — where the perfect creation of God bears both illumination and darkness.

Two beings, one essence.
Lucifer, the dual being — The Morning Star, bearer of light ☀️, and The North Star, bringer of darkness 🌑.

“The stars have a double nature — one good, one ill.
Fortune and ruin share the same sky.”

This is the genesis of a mythos born from divine rebellion and cosmic order — the foundation of The Book of Covenants, a vast world-building project soon to take form as a published book.

For those who wander the Lands Between, who crave lore as deep as the abyss — this is your call to ascend. ⚔️🔥

🦁🦜 RAJANOK – The Jungle Sovereign 🦜🦁
Excited to finally share this creature concept I created during my course at .academy

Full process on my Artstation link in the bio!

The assignment was to design a Hybrid Dragon—something different from the typical reptilian form. I chose to explore an AVIAN-FELINE DRAGON, blending the anatomy of a lion with the vibrant power of tropical birds.

💥 RAJANOK is inspired by Southeast Asian mythology.
His name comes from Raja (Malay for “king”) + Nok (Thai for “bird”).
He’s a hornbill-headed apex predator, a guardian of the Indian jungle—majestic, wild, and ancient.

🌿 Myth meets muscle
🦴 Part lion, part bird, with a hint of dinosaur
📚 Created as part of my training at Quadra

What do you think—would you survive in Rajanok’s jungle?
