Come along to tour our fantastic facilities, meet our passionate staff, and hear directly from our brilliant students about life at Riddlesdown.

Open Evening: Thursday 24th September 2026, 5.30-8.30pm. No need to book.

Open Mornings: Daily slots Monday 14th to Friday 18th September, Tuesday 29th September and Wednesday 7th October 2026. Spaces are limited and booking is required. Full details on how to reserve your slot will be published on our website in early September.

We can't wait to welcome you and give you a glimpse into your child's future.

🎉 CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE: CLASS OF 2026! 🎓✨

Huge congratulations to our amazing students on another year of incredible GCSE results! Your hard work, dedication, and resilience have truly paid off, and we couldn’t be prouder. 💙 🙌

Here are a few highlights from this year's outstanding results:
🌟 155 Grade 9s awarded across all subjects - the highest possible grade!
📚 63% of students achieved grades 9–5 in both English & Maths
📈 81% of students secured grades 9–4 in both English & Maths
✨ Year 10 Spotlight: Massive congratulations to our Year 10s taking Religion & Worldviews early!

🎉 HISTORIC RESULTS AT RIDDLESDOWN COLLEGIATE! 🎉
Huge congratulations to our incredible Class of 2026! Today we are celebrating a record-breaking set of A Level and BTEC results, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything our students have achieved. 🌟

✨ 61% A-B grades. The highest percentage ever recorded in the school’s history!
✨ Nearly a third of all grades were A-A*
✨ Nearly 100 students achieved BBB or higher (or equivalent)

These outstanding outcomes mean our students are now stepping into bright, exciting futures, securing places on superb university courses, highly competitive degree apprenticeships, and prestigious employment opportunities. 🎓💼

Congratulations to the Journalism Club! We are beyond excited to share the very first edition of The Riddlesdown Dispatch! The club started in December and worked hard to pull together a fantastic, packed online edition by the end of term, featuring news from clubs and colleges, an insight into the outstanding musical production of The Addams Family, and more!

Looking ahead, the club is encouraging the whole school community to get involved and help drive content for upcoming issues. Whether you want to write or take photos, there's an open invitation for students to contribute across a wide variety of topics:

Pivot power in the Food Tech room last term! 🍏

Year 9 were supposed to be baking Apple Dutch Cake, but with the weather being so hot, turning all the ovens on would have turned the classroom into a sauna! 🥵

Safety first, so we switched to Plan B: delicious no-bake Apple Flapjacks and an apple design competition!

We put the apples to great use, and the students did an amazing job adapting. Which design is your favourite? 👇
