October is a busy month in the neurodiversity calendar, and at Neuro Voices, we’re excited to raise awareness and celebrate our community. Here’s what we’re focusing on:

📖 Dyslexia Awareness Week (7th–13th October): This year’s theme, What’s Your Story?, explores the diverse experiences of dyslexic individuals. We’ll share stories that highlight the creativity and resilience of those with dyslexia, emphasising the importance of early identification and tailored support.

🧠 Dyspraxia Awareness Week (13th–19th October): We’ll highlight dyspraxia, a condition that affects coordination and organisation. Often misunderstood, dyspraxia can also be linked with creativity. We’ll showcase the unique strengths of those living with it.

⚡ ADHD Awareness Month (All of October): ADHD involves more than just hyperactivity—it’s about attention regulation and impulsivity. This month, we aim to clear up misconceptions and promote understanding of how ADHD presents in different people. We’re here to share practical strategies that can help.

Join us in spreading the word and encouraging workplaces and communities to embrace neurodiversity! 💪
