🚨 BIG EXPANSION NEWS AT CRE8TIVE RESOURCES 🚨

With the new RSHE reforms coming into place from September 2026, we knew demand was going to increase.

So, naturally, we’ve taken decisive action and doubled down on recruitment.

Please welcome our TWO newest members of the Cre8tive Resources team… our beautiful twin daughters! 👶👶💕😂

Admittedly, the recruitment process was slightly longer than expected and their current CVs are fairly limited.

Key skills so far include:
🍼 Milk consumption
💩 Producing extraordinary quantities of nappies
😴 Sleeping through important meetings
😭 Escalating minor issues directly to senior management
⏰ Excellent commitment to the night shift
📢 Very strong communication skills — particularly at 3am

Their productivity levels are questionable, they refuse to attend meetings and neither has responded to a single email… but we’re confident they’ll be valuable members of the Cre8tive Resources team eventually.

In all seriousness, it feels particularly special welcoming them into the world at such an exciting time for Cre8tive Resources.

With schools preparing for the new reforms, we’ve been working incredibly hard behind the scenes to make sure our resources, curriculums and support are ready for what is going to be a huge year.

🚨 A powerful PSHE discussion point from Coronation Street
Recent Coronation Street storylines have opened up an important — and potentially life-saving — conversation for schools: the dangers of choking during s*xual activity.

It can be difficult to talk about this topic with young people, but that’s exactly why evidence-based, age-appropriate RSE matters.

The storyline provides a useful real-world starting point to explore:
🔹 Why choking is not a safe or harmless part of s*x
🔹 The serious risks associated with restricting someone's breathing
🔹 How pressure from po*******hy, social media or peers can normalise dangerous behaviour
🔹 The importance of consent — and why consent does not make a dangerous act safe
🔹 Recognising pressure, coercion and unhealthy relationship behaviours
🔹 What to do if someone has been injured or feels unsafe
🔹 Where young people can access trusted support and advice
Rather than simply telling students “don’t do it”, PSHE can give them the knowledge and confidence to recognise risk, challenge harmful myths and make safer decisions.
📚 Real-world storylines can be incredibly valuable teaching tools when used appropriately — giving students a familiar context for conversations about relationships, consent, risk and personal safety.
