These unique schools provide education to children even during floods, ensuring they don't fall behind in their studies. They come equipped with classrooms, libraries, and sometimes even solar panels for electricity. They truly represent a vital lifeline for education in flood-prone areas.

Impressive?

Pepper is a humanoid robot developed by SoftBank Robotics that can engage in basic conversation, recognize emotions, and even dance. While not a replacement for human teachers, Pepper can provide valuable support by:

Leading small group activities
Answering student questions
Providing personalized feedback
Making learning more engaging and interactive
The use of robot teachers in Japan is still in its early stages, but it represents an interesting potential innovation in the field of education.

Do you think this would be a great addition to UK classrooms?

Our tutors provide a written report and homework for each lesson. This is an example from one of our tutors for a GCSE student preparing for a maths exam.

Hello, my name is Feyi. I study Medicine at King's College London. I love studying medicine because it allows me to apply scientific contexts into real life settings. Tutoring allows me to rely on both my subject expertise and my creativity to excite enthusiasm and understanding in my students; a uniquely challenging but immensely rewarding job role. The role of tutor also enables me to really develop my interpersonal skills which are skills I am always trying to improve as a medical student. It also helps the student. I find it gratifying to see a student struggle, grapple, and finally grasp a new concept. Maths is a challenging subject but if taught right, it can be fun and interesting to learn. This is what I aim to do by breaking down difficult concepts. I have tutored students ranging from 9 to 18 years old and ranging in terms of academic ability. This dynamic environment is one I love and I feel Joy Learning has. I have been teaching students Maths and Science for four years to help prepare them for their exams. I am currently teaching GCSE students maths and science to aid them in any difficult topics.
