The Fashion Technology Academy

The Fashion Technology Academy The Fashion Technology Academy runs short courses in Sewing, Tailoring, Patterncutting, TR Cutting & many other Fashion Skills for the Fashion Industry.

Run by Fashion Enter, key skills such as pattern cutting, designing, customer relations and production of garments are taught by industry experts, students are placed with employers four days a week to hone these skills within a working environment and spend one day a week at the Fashion Studio training for the qualification. Apprentices on the scheme are currently placed with ASOS, New Look, House of Fraser, Fashion Enter and a host of smaller designer companies. We now run both the Level 3 and Level 4 framework

This September we're bringing together creativity, practical skills and an important conversation around breast health.

Join us at the Fashion Technology Academy in Leicester for our FREE Pink Threads: Breast Cancer Awareness & Bra-Making Workshop.

The session combines an informative discussion around breast awareness, including knowing what is normal for you, recognising changes and understanding the importance of screening, with a practical introduction to bra-making.

You'll explore measuring, pattern adaptation, selecting suitable materials, construction and fitting.
