"I know that choosing the right tuition for your child can be a big decision! You want a tutor whom you can trust to support your child, in a safe environment where they can enjoy learning, improve their grades, and ideally fit it around your busy schedule.

My name is Sindy Theivendran or as my students like to call me, Ms Sindy. I have been tutoring students from the ages 9 - 18 for over 12 years and since starting SS Tuition back in 2013, I have been lucky to partner with 10 qualified and exceptional tutors!

Together we have striven towards something that lies at the core of SS Tuition- developing a unique learning approach for each student based on gaining a deep understanding of a child’s specific needs and learning style.

From here we are able to tailor the lessons, coach our students and practice multiple mock papers to help your child gain the confidence needed to succeed. Together we have helped over 500 students doing GCSEs, KS2/3, 11+, and A Level exams discover their potential and we’d love for you to become part of the SS Tuition Family too ☺️”

IT’S OFFICIAL!!!🥳🥳🎉🎉💜💜 We are so excited to announce that SS Tuition has officially rebranded!!!!

We’ve been working hard over the last few months to give our beloved online tutoring school a much-needed makeover with a brand new website, logo and so much more!

We hope all of our students and parents will love the new look as much as we do!

As part of this exciting new launch, we’ve asked our very own Principal Tutor and Founder Mrs Sindy to give us a sneak peek into what this new rebranding means for us all.

Mrs Sindy: “Hi everyone! I’m so excited to share with you all the new SS Tuition rebranding. As most of you know, SS Tuition has been providing quality tuition services for over 9 years, so as we go into our 10th year it was about time we gave our look an upgrade!

Our new website is much easier to use and navigate than before, with information about our online classes, brilliant tutors and more just a few clicks away. You’ll also find handy blogs we’ll be posting with tips on doing well in your studies as well as some super useful coaching tips for our parents!

On top of this, we’ve also got a brand new logo that truly captures our commitment to helping each child discover their potential and reaching for the stars! ✨

We hope that you will love the new SS Tuition rebranding as much as we do and that it will help us continue to provide our students with the best online tuition services in town!

Thanks so much for being part of the SS Tuition family and we can’t wait to hear what you think of our new look!” 💜👩🏽‍🏫

Kindness is everything🥰💜 It’s hard when our kids lose their confidence and motivation at school or with a particular subject. It’s heartbreaking and can be incredibly frustrating especially when you know what their potential is!

But…before you get too mad and start scolding them, firstly sit down with your child and hear them out. This means simply listening- listening to what’s been happening, listening to their fears, lending an ear and trying not to interrupt! After this, try digging a little deeper to get to the bottom of why they feel they’ve lost the drive to continue their studies or why they feel a grade has dropped in school. Is it because they don’t understand the material well enough? Is it because their grades are suffering? Is it the exam format? The teacher? Or is it something else completely?

Once you determine the underlying cause, work together to figure out how to tackle it. Be their partner! If your child is struggling with the material, offer to give extra help or consider enrolling them in tutoring. If your child is overwhelmed, break up the tasks into smaller steps and provide daily encouragement. And most importantly, remember to be supportive and encouraging.

The next step is to focus on building the right habits and setting realistic goals. Set achievable targets that can be accomplished each day and reward your child when they meet their goals. Your child will then start to see his or her own progress and feel more ambitious.

Finally, remember to celebrate every small success with your child. You’re their biggest cheerleader and they’ll rely on your words of encouragement to turn things around.

If you feel you need to speak to anyone about your child, feel free to give us a call, we’re always here to help 💜
