A business born from my passion for all things design and delivery in learning. Having worked 12 years in the corporate world for a global company I have seen good, bad and indifferent learning. The quality of the learning is dependent on who has designed it and who is delivering it. I have learnt that working for myself the need for connection with others who do what you do is really important and this is what we create at SOF, networks of like-minded souls who want to come together to learn, share and connect. Looking back, the £380k wasn’t really the point.

The point was that I had built a business that was moving, growing and bringing in work… without regularly stopping to ask what I was actually building.

That mastermind gave me something I hadn’t realised I was missing: perspective.

A reason to step out of delivery mode.

That experience stayed with me.

And it’s a big part of why Flow exists now.

Because experienced facilitators need somewhere to think properly about the business they’re already running - with people who can see things they might be too close to notice themselves.

That’s the kind of room Flow is designed to be.

PS: The people from that mastermind - I talk to one of them every week, one of them works with me, another is my teacher. Roots were laid, and the flowers are now here 11 years on.

A room full of experienced facilitators is a funny thing.

Nobody needs telling how to hold space, ask a good question or get a group talking.

And yet, put those same people together and the conversation very quickly moves to..
..the proposal they’re unsure about.
..the client they probably shouldn’t have said yes to.
..the business model that worked two years ago but doesn’t quite fit anymore.
..the idea they’ve been carrying around for months and haven’t said out loud yet.

The value of being around people who already understand enough that you don’t have to start at the beginning every time.

That’s what Flow is built around.

A lot of people say their goal is ‘more work’, and that’s fine...but vague 🤷‍♀️

Because wanting more work is one thing.

Knowing what you want to be known for, who you want to work with, and what you want to sell them is something else.

That’s part of what changed for Sherry inside Flow.

She joined wanting support, accountability, and encouragement around growing the B2B side of her business.

What followed was much more than a general confidence boost.

She got clear on her niche.
That clarity helped her shape a Leadership Development Day for IT Managers in law firms.

And she sold one.

What I like about Sherry’s story is that it isn’t like everything is suddenly perfect and she’s now doing 6-figure years etc etc 🙄

There’s still more she wants to build on.

But she has moved from a broad ambition to a specific offer with a clear audience, and that’s what gets you further.
