Jose Luis makes the acquaintance of Silvia, a beautiful laborer on the underwear assembly line, and he is instantly lovestruck. When he announces his intention to marry this blue-collar woman, Conchita is quite displeased, so she enlists the hunky Raul to take Silvia's mind off her son. The plan works, until Conchita also falls for Raul.

Join us on Saturday 30th May for a powerful night of live flamenco with Natalia Garcia-Huidobro, Lourdes Fernández and friends.

Tablao, Saraos y Colmao brings together dance, guitar and song in an intimate tablao setting, where tradition meets a fresh, contemporary edge. Led by the women of flamenco, this performance explores the roots of the art form while reimagining it for today, full of rhythm, emotion and raw expression.

Expect two incredible dancers, live guitar and soulful singing, with no stage barriers and no distractions, just pure flamenco, the way it’s meant to be experienced.

Friday nights are for salsa! 💃

Join us each week for our popular Salsa Fridays events where the music’s on, the energy’s high and everyone’s welcome, whether you’ve danced before or not!

You can kick things off with a free taster from 7–7:30pm, perfect if you want to give it a go with zero pressure. And we also run beginners or improvers classes from 7:30pm (15 each), where you’ll be able to build confidence, learn new moves and have a great time doing it.

Then from 9:30pm the night rolls straight into free social salsa, so you can practise what you’ve learned, dance with new people or just soak up the atmosphere at La Bodega! It’s fun, it’s social, and it’s the best way to start your weekend!

Still guessing your way through Spanish past tenses? 👀

Our Past Tenses Workshop is designed to help everything finally click, so you can stop second-guessing and start speaking with confidence!

Across two focused sessions (7th and 14th May), we’ll break down the key past tenses from Indefinite, Imperfect and Present Perfect but, more importantly, show you how to actually use them in real conversations. So no more translating in your head just natural, fluent Spanish.

You’ll get clear explanations, practical examples and plenty of speaking practice to help it all stick, plus we’ll tackle the common mistakes that trip most learners up. It’s perfect if you’ve learned the past tenses before but still hesitate when it’s time to use them.
