Two weeks after we visited a primary school in Manchester, a Year 4 pupil used the recovery position on a friend who fainted in the playground. The teacher said the child was calm, confident, and knew exactly what to do. That is what one Save a Life session can do. EYFS to Year 6.

British Science Week 2026 is done. 98 schools. 33,300 students. 9.8 out of 10 average rating. 86% of schools gave a perfect score. Teachers kept telling us the same thing afterwards: the students who engage least in normal lessons were the ones who could not stop talking about it later.

This is what learning should feel like.

Devonshire Primary School in Sutton shared this brilliant post about their Year 4 Romans workshop with us last month — and the kids' words say it better than I ever could:

Using VR headsets, the children visited the Colosseum, walked through a Roman town, and stood at Hadrian's Wall — all from their classroom in Sutton.

This is why we do what we do. Bringing history to life so vividly that a 9-year-old says it's "the best thing I have ever done." That's the bar.
