Saturday morning blast;
Nothing glamorous, but a great start to the day and a sure fire way to take steps to improving fitness levels, all in all, loved it!
Part A was particularly disgusting, straight off the thrusters into burpees over the bar, really gets you blowing early on, so use your rest wisely!

Dumbbell blast to start the day, pretty cold this morning so glad to get a sweat on 😂
Training slowly starting to get back to normal and with the longer, brighter days coming in I’m gonna get back to adding in some block and trail runs 👌🏼

A few messages about the open workouts lately so thought I’d share;
I’m not a CrossFit athlete, but I love to get into some of the workouts when I can. There are scaled versions to help those who are new to training or who struggle with certain aspects which is awesome
After doing 22.2 last night I realised that the workout itself is great (but also absolutely disgusting) so thought I’d offer up a couple of ideas for those who want to do something similar
Give them a go with whatever weight suits you and take a note of your score, then in a few weeks time give it a go again!

So…. This was fun 🥴
Grabbed a set of KB’s for the thrusters and DB’s for the devil press and got right into it!
Sweaty? Yes.
Blowing? Yes.
Feeling good now? 100%
Sometimes life gets in the way, and with a very hectic start to 2022 it’s been challenging to keep accountable, but short sharp sessions like this are what keep me motivated
Get into it, head down, tunes on!

Sweaty Sunday morning 🤙🏼
Training has been very random over the last few weeks but still ticking the box when it comes to moving and getting that HR up for at least 20-30 mins a day
Loved this, split it up to be 4 rounds;
25 Burpees
50 DU
750m run
100 squats
Lots of ways to get through it, find the one for you and get the head down!

10 hour return drive ahead so needed to get moving early doors;
Grab some KBs and DBs and find yourself a quiet space in the gym, get the head down and charge on 👌🏼

This was the wake up call I needed 🙌🏼
Fitness levels are improving week on week and I am really enjoying throwing around the KB’s and DB’s at the moment
Grab a set of your choice and get after it, 30mins approx, burned off a few hundred cals and got my mind right for the day

Hard work this morning, nothing flash, just trying to better the engine 👌🏼
Give it a go with a cal split that works for you, make a note of your time and use that as your 22 base level, don’t let it drop from there!

Early morning HIIT to get me started on the first week of 2022
Everyone needs some downtime on their training and diet, it’s part of the process. For me, it’s about helping to appreciate how much I enjoy the feeling of being fit, healthy and consistent in my approach
Time to put down the chocolate orange, for the next 30mins, and grab your DB’s or KB’s!
