Through a combination of authentic Islamic scholarship and modern academic advancements, ASI delivers its pioneering 6-year Alimiyyah Programme (aka Islamic Scholarship Programme) in London and online live.

Foundation Year
A beginner-level programme providing a grounding in Arabic and the Islamic sciences.

Quran Study Programme
A three-year programme devoted to the study of the Quran verse by verse, together with the sciences of the Quran.

Arabic Immersion Programme
A two-year programme designed to strengthen students’ command of Arabic.

Alimiyyah Programme
A five-year programme offering a comprehensive study in the Islamic sciences.

Final Call - Early Bird Ends Today

This is a final reminder that early bird pricing for the Bosnia Islamic Heritage Tour with Shaykh Akram Nadwi ends today (31 January).

The early bird rate is £1095 per adult (twin share). This rate can be secured by paying the first of three instalments by today, 31 January.

The tour will take place from Saturday 23 May to Saturday 30 May 2026 and includes accommodation, domestic travel within Bosnia, guided visits, selected group meals, and daily classes and reflections with Shaykh Akram Nadwi throughout the journey.

Timeless Tafsirs: Exploring Six Landmark Commentaries and Beyond

A 4-day seminar series opening a gateway into the world of Qur’anic interpretation by Shaykh Akram Nadwi and others.

Join us for a 4-day seminar series that opens a gateway into the world of Qur’anic interpretation. Participants will explore six seminal tafsirs in Islamic history, from the classical authorities of al-Tabari, al-Zamakshari, and al-Razi, to the modern voices of Ibn Ashur, al-Alusi, and Islahi. The series culminates in a final seminar on the Qur’an as a living source, a guided overview of some other notable commentators, and an exclusive preview of Shaykh Akram’s forthcoming tafsir work.
