As the new school year approaches, now is the time to identify barriers to learning before they affect outcomes.
Not every challenge is obvious. A pupil who seems settled may be quietly anxious, while one who appears confident may not yet feel they belong.
At Christ the Redeemer Primary School in Belfast, staff use PASS alongside daily emotional check-ins to gain a deeper understanding of pupil wellbeing and ensure support reaches those who need it most.
As Vice Principal Nicola McKeown explains: "PASS plays a fundamental role in shaping our school's approach to wellbeing, influencing everything from curriculum planning to targeted interventions."
