Y1 Sikh Studies Registration

Our Year 1 Sikh Studies course is open for registration for our 2026-2027 sitting! Open to all aged 16+ - students, professionals, retirees, all are welcome! There are a number of options for where you can sit the course this year including Cambridge, Oxford, Southampton, but of course we also allow you to suggest where we should bring the course - if there is enough demand and we can facilitate, we will!

Complete the form at our website which is an expression of interest - you will be emailed in the coming fortnight with precise details about the no-obligation, optional introductory session in your chosen location, followed by where and when the course proper will take place. We look forward to seeing new attendees this year joining the one thousand plus individuals who have sat this course over the last nineteen years! Whether you’re stepping onto the court or cheering from the sidelines, join us in fostering athletic skill, community spirit, and the friendly yet fierce competitive drive that pushes us all to be our best. To fuel that drive and sharpen the competitive edge, teams will be playing for a cash prize of £1,000!

Registration is now open for both full teams and individuals. If you register as an individual, we will connect you with others in your area to form a team. The deadline to register is Sunday 6 September 2026.

International Panjabi Conference 2026 📚

On August 8th and 9th, the conference convened at the prestigious UCL Institute of Education. Over two days, we welcomed more than 150 attendees to engage with 19 speakers from across the globe.

We were thrilled to see the incredible engagement from attendees, who actively discussed research on topics ranging from the development of scientific vocabulary and terminology in Panjabi to comprehensive analyses of language education within the Canadian schooling system. It is exactly this level of dedication and shared commitment to the Panjabi language that continues to inspire us each year. Thank you to all our speakers, attendees, and volunteers for making this event possible.
