Well done to the Gold teams who took on the rapids at Ironbridge Gorge on their DofE Practice expedition. They paddled them so well they received a standing ovation from the kayakers on the river!
Activ Adventures is a young, friendly and lively company. Our full-time and freelance teams are full of energetic, motivated people who are passionate about what they do. Activ Adventures is looking for qualified instructors to instruct, train and support on our Duke Of Edinburgh Award expeditions at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels across the UK. Activ Adventures is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
We are always looking for both experienced, qualified leaders as well as those who are looking to start their journey as an expedition leader. We offer on the job training and devlopemnt as well as credits towards gaining qualifications.
The role facilitates the safe and effective delivery of our Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expeditions in the UK, and safely support and mentor the participants through the expedition section. This role will require the successful applicants to work predominantly in the South East region but at times across the UK, on multiple overnight stays and periods away from home. Successful applicants should expect a challenging and responsible role that requires strong time management capability and a professional approach at all times.

Our final expedition of the year is complete and what a week the Gold teams have had! Well done to the participants and staff team for coping so well with some challenging conditions. The rainy days make the bright blue skies even more beautiful! ⛰🥾☀ Snowdonia National Park
