How to Help Others to Get Their Voices Heard?
If you're chairing or facilitating the meeting yourself, be sure to make it a safe and productive environment for everyone:
•Lead by example and set the tone for non-judgmental, inclusive and respectful behaviour.
•Be encouraging, pick up on ideas and develop them – but don't take the credit!
•Invite contributions from everyone so that no one leaves without speaking.
•Don't spring new information on the attendees and expect an immediate flurry of thoughtful responses – give people time to prepare.

What you wear can help you be more present?

Can something as mundane as what you wear serve to help you become more present, visible and properly valued? Actually, yes, it can. Are you wearing darker colours? You might consider wearing brighter colours, nice shirts, a smart suit, lipstick, and for the guys, attentive grooming.
Visualise yourself as confident. What type of leader do you want to be and how would that leader look? Take actions as if you were that person already and dress the part.

When You're Feeling Confident show your confidence
Meetings are expensive to the organisation – just add up the hourly rate of everyone present! So they need to be worthwhile and effective to larger groups at work, or even some training in public speaking will help.
