Rainbow pre-school has closed

Wishing everyonoe going on Rainbows trip to Margate a wonderful day. Safe journey and have some fish and chips on the beach for me. Sorry I can't be there x

So Rainbow closed its doors for the last time today. I started volunteering there 22 years ago and have worked there for over 18. In that time we have earned outstanding grades from OFSTED, been accredited by the Pre-School Learning Alliance, achieved the Evelina award and was made a Lambeth Enhanced setting. Not bad for a little group run from a community hall. None of this could have been achieved without the amazing team I have have had the pleasure, and privilege, of working with over those years. My wonderful girls; Carol, Susie, Sue, Lynn, Lori & Fiona. Or our loyal committee; Sue R, Elsa and Hayley. I have also had some wonderful supportive parents and made life long friends. There were low times, very hard work and stressful times but all these were made easier by the love and laughter we have always shared. Thank you to everyone and much love.

Wonderful sports day and picnic today with youngstars academy. Just the show, and party tomorrow, and that's it for Rainbow. Parting is such sweet sorrow ;-(.

Join us at Peabody Hill Fun Day next Sunday (2nd July) where there will be a great party atmosphere and lots to do. 11am - 4pm

DEAR ALL, RAINBOW IS CLOSING DOWN AT THE END OF THIS SUMMER TERM. 'IT'S A SAD TIME FOR ALL CONCERNED. WE WILL BE SELLING OFF THE TOYS AND EQUIPMENT. IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED LET US KNOW.

We're all excited today as we're off to Ganbados for our Easter party and fun in the ball pools. Time to go hopping mad! :-D
