Let me share a boring daily life story,
I live quite far away from my work place. To be very precise ,I've to change one bus and two trains. Today, when I got into my first train I saw an Indian couple, probably in their 60's are struggling to get their baggage inside the train and also they were so confused and scared as hell. They sat next to me while I was on phone with my maa.
The lady asked me," This train go to "mile end?". "yes",I said. Then they looked more confused cause how they gonna know which one is mile end station?!. I told maa to hold and I spoke to the lady. 'I'll also get off on that station so I can take you with me. "They were relieved. Then she was trying to make small talks. I told maa that I'll call you later on my break, she understood♥️
And, I started to listen what she was saying. She asked my name and coincidencely me and her daughter have the same name. She was doing chit-chat with me as well her husband.
We all got off on Mile end station and took the next train as we both gonna take the same train. Their station was 3 station prior to mine. So, I assured them I'll let them know when to get off and where to go.
When they were leaving, the nice lady patted my head and blessed me. and, the gentleman said 'Thank you, beta'. I told them to be safe with their phones and wallets because central london is not as safe as it was before.
It’s not a big event or grand gesture I know. People who know me,they know my baba-maa are around the same age as that couple; and there might be a chance they'll be facing the same kind of confusion in a foreign country while roaming around alone ( cause we three siblings reside in three different countries). My spiritual self always believe If I do good in this world My Allah will give me something in return. Maybe someday,in some other land, some stranger girl will help my old baba-maa to find their way.
I hope they had a great time today, they were going to visit museums they mentioned.
Oh ,ya..
They were holding hands while walking🤍
