I am an experienced educator who has worked in both state and independent mainstream and special schools. I have experience as a class teacher, specialist SpLD teacher and as a SENCo. In addition, I am a parent of children who have additional needs, and have had to navigate the system to ensure reasonable adjustments and appropriate provision (such as extra time in exams, targeted interventions, an EHCP) has been in place throughout their education to support their needs.

I am able to offer diagnostic assessments and/or learning assessments to investigate English and/or maths difficulties. An assessment will reveal both strengths and challenges, and depending on what the assessment reveals, can provide recommendations such as individualised targets for additional support and/or exam access arrangements - such as extra time.
