First week of this term we were gardeners. We drew flowers, made leaves with playdoh, went on a nature hunt, read lots of books, decorated leaves, planted pretend seeds and real seeds, compared different seeds and bulbs, and created our own flower pictures.

Dinosaurs. We went to see the dinosaurs at crystal palace park. We threaded, named and coloured dinosaurs. We did jigsaws. We made dinosaur footprints in the playdoh and the sand and they were soon joined by the cars!

Easter. We fed the bunny different letters and numbers. Hid letters in eggs and had an egg hunt, matched egg shapes, painted with different stamps, used our eggs with pom poms and water. We rescued eggs, decorated eggs, created patterns. We froze eggs and buried them in the sand.

British science week. We built bridges, tested ramps, made musical instruments, explored obleck, tested if items floated or sank, watched water travel, observed how oil, food colour and water react to each other and mixed bicarbonate of soda with vinegar. So much fun and lots of great discussions.
