Year 8 were delighted to welcome Sir William Sargent to Chace. William is the Chair and former CEO of Framestore, the largest creative services business working in film, television, immersive and advertising. They work with Hollywood studios, global brands and technology giants like Google, Meta and Microsoft and have won every major relevant international award, including BAFTAs, Oscars and Grammies. William spoke to Year 8 about his fascinating background and then gave excellent advice about pursuing their passions and specific tips on working in the tech industry. The event was part of the Into Tech programme, run by .uk and , a 3 year programme where students will also benefit from work experience and mentoring, aimed at encouraging more girls to pursue careers in tech.

After finishing a successful season finishing 2nd place in the league our year 7&8 girls football team came away undefeated in the Enfield Borough Football Tournament this week having not conceded a single goal. We’re very proud of the girls and how much they have achieved this year!

Beautiful GCSE sketchbook studies grade 9

Year 12 students visited the HE Search Fair where they received support to make confident and informed choices about their next steps. They had the opportunity to be inspired by and connect with employers, universities, apprenticeship providers and colleges.

Year 12 students were excited to welcome Joe Twyman to speak to them during their Chace + enrichment session. Joe is one of the UK's best known pollsters, having previously worked for YouGov and now directing Deltapoll. Joe gave an inspirational talk on his own career journey and invaluable tips for students as they shortly begin their career. He took time to meet with a group of students interested in political careers.
