The cutest halloween costume for a very sweet little one.

The instructions for this were a nightmare but after a bit of guesswork it turned out super sweet!

Happy Halloween! 🎃👻

A few months ago my charge went on a trip with her family. I made this little drawstring bag and filled it with new toys for the adventure.

She loved it and now it can be refilled for every trip!

One silly goose themed first birthday party!

This was a lot of fun. Face banners, handmade ballon arches, baby geese, handmade dresses and lots of themed food!

This morning my charge and I hosted a small Easter party for some of her little pals. We had the best time!

I love any excuse to throw a party/decorate and cook! With Easter plans building today was the perfect opportunity to celebrate.

Thank you to everyone who came we hope you had a great time 🐣

🤍 The table tent was also a bit hit and definitely worth the late night sewing last night 🤍

I finally officially graduated. 🎓

Yesterday was my degree graduation ceremony

The sun was shining and it was the perfect day.

It was so lovely to be able to spend the day celebrating with all of my favourite people. (Minus my little best friend who had a lovely time at home with her family) the love and support was overwhelming.

🤍 Thank you 🤍

This time next year I will be a Norland nanny. 👩🏽‍🍼

Bringing this one back. Edible sand.

Always a hit and super easy (tastes pretty good too)

One of my personal favourite activities because it works for all ages.

Benefits:

Sensory Exploration: Edible sand provides a rich sensory experience, stimulating the baby’s sense of touch, sight, and even smell. The different textures and colors can be fascinating for them to explore.

Fine Motor Skills: Playing with edible sand helps develop fine motor skills such as grasping, pinching, and scooping. These actions strengthen the muscles in their hands and fingers.

Cognitive Development: Interacting with the sand, they are learning about cause and effect. For example, they might learn that pouring water on the sand makes it change texture or that they can make different shapes by pressing their hands into it.

Language Development: While playing with edible sand, you can engage in conversation, describing the actions they are doing and the textures they are feeling. This helps them develop their vocabulary and communication skills.

Social Interaction: Playing with edible sand can be a fun social activity. It provides an opportunity to bond and interact, creating positive memories and strengthening relationships.

Christmas sensory bottles

Last one for Christmas but completely forgot to post about this one and it couldn’t wait until next year!

These turned out it so well and are so simple to put together for different seasons and themes. Everything is reusable and can be found around the house.

The “snow” and the glitter were particularly popular.
