I always try to remind people that no one walks in to a meeting/presentation/pitch as an audience member hoping to hear someone mess up - your audience is there to soak up all the information you can give them, otherwise they wouldn't be there! 🚀

Are you an active listener? 👂 🗣️
We've all been there (yes even me!😉) when we're guilty of not always listening to all the viewpoints of a conversation. Maybe, as an example, you've thought of a brilliant point to make and don't want to forget it, and in the process have totally lost the thread of conversation going on around you - it happens!
The avoidance of this pitfall is known as Active Listening. Active listening is a superpower in the world of communication that demonstrates your quality as an engaged and valuable member of any conversation piece. It's not just hearing words; it's understanding emotions, showing empathy, and making deeper connections through learned behaviour and cues. 🤝
