Year 5 pupils took part in exciting and valuable Bikeability cycle training. The programme gave children the opportunity to develop essential cycling skills and build their confidence on the road. The training began in the playground where pupils were taught key control skills, such as safe starting and stopping, emergency braking and holding a hand signal for at least three seconds....

On the evening of Friday 25th April, the children in Year 4 enjoyed a sleepover at school! Read on, to hear all about what they got up to… Firstly we enjoyed Outdoor Learning with Will, Gray and Kenna it was super fun and made us all work together. We played Dodgeball (the girls won), we played a ‘smuggling’ game, but our favourite was ‘ The magic paintbrush’....

We are incredibly proud of a group of our Year 3 pupils who had the amazing opportunity to be mascots for Chelsea FC during the UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-final against Barcelona on Sunday 27th April. They participated in a VIP Player Arrival event, which a parent was also able to join in with, making it extra special for our families....

Year 1 enjoyed an exciting trip to the Natural History Museum, which perfectly complemented their Science topic on Animals. The trip offered a fantastic opportunity to see real life examples of what they’ve been learning in class. The highlight for many children was taking part in a thrilling mini beast hunt. They explored the museum’s exhibits and discovered all sorts of fascinating creatures. Back at school, the children rounded off their day with a lovely picnic lunch.

We were thrilled to host a fun-filled Pyjamarama day at school in support of Children with Cancer UK. Pupils and staff came to school dressed in their pyjamas, creating a cheerful and colourful atmosphere throughout the day. On Tuesday 17th June, our Year 6 pupils had the opportunity to watch a special performance of 'Cross The Line' at school. Cross The Line is a new touring theatre production created especially for young people in West London. It explores important themes around county lines and is designed to be age appropriate for Year 6 pupils. Our pupils from Nursery to Year 6 thoroughly enjoy their gardening sessions. With the expert guidance of our wonderful gardener, Pascale, they have been busy planting, digging and learning how to care for the natural world around them. These hands on sessions have helped to create a beautiful and thriving school garden, while also supporting outdoor learning, teamwork and a love of nature. Year 3 have been learning about the Pentatonic scale and listening to a beautiful Chinese melody called ‘Jasmine Flower’ which uses the 5 note scale. The children practised the scale on xylophones and then created their own melodies using the Pentatonic scale. Their compositions were incredible and very creative. Well done Year 3 musicians!

Year 5 went on a brilliant trip to the Bank of England Museum. They learnt all about the world of finance and banking, sparking plenty of curiosity and questions along the way. The children enjoyed exploring the museum’s exhibits, where they had the opportunity to hold a real gold bar, which was one of the many highlights of the day. They also took part in an engaging workshop, learning all about what banks do and the important role the Bank of England plays in the UK economy.
